Made in collaboration with a 2nd generation woodcarver from Pampanga. Taught by his father, he has been carving since he was 11, first working on furniture and now has found his passion in sculpture.
Hand-carved incense holders in 3 wood types: Cream (Gmelina), Taupe (Bayabas), Dark (stained Gmelina wood).
Woodcarving is one of the longest existing arts in the Philippines, which some records say dates back to over 2000 years ago, a time when carvers had to use stones, shells and even the teeth or tusks of animals to shape wood.
