A super light tote that fits everything. Dotted with a mix of wood, coconut, stone and glass beads on a slightly structured fabric. Made using vintage deadstock fabric hand-loomed in Aklan, and cannot be reproduced. Fully-lined. Only three pieces of these ever made!
Handloom weaving is the oldest industry in the town of Aklan. Although it is a big part of the local culture, it is a time-consuming practice, and interested youth have become few and far between.
A portion of proceeds go to Real Life Foundation, a non-profit, non-government organization providing educational assistance to underprivileged Filipino youth.
